Principal Trisha Poore

Welcome to J.F. Delaney Elementary! 

My name is Trisha Poore, and as the Principal at J.F. Delaney, I am beyond excited to partner with our students, staff, and families this year. As a proud graduate of Kennedale High School, serving this community is deeply personal to me, and my heart has always belonged to Kennedale ISD. 

My journey in KISD began in 2000 as a teacher at James A. Arthur Intermediate. In 2004, I transitioned to James F. Delaney alongside the 4th-grade team, teaching here for 12 wonderful years. I then returned to JAA to serve as Assistant Principal from 2016 to 2022, before returning home to Delaney to step into the role of Campus Principal. 

Family is at the center of everything I do. My husband, Toby, and we have two incredible children. Our daughter, Taylor, is married and proudly following in my footsteps as an educator, while our son, Tyler, is an 8th grader at Kennedale Junior High. 

I am committed to working closely with our staff and families to make JFD the absolute best place for our students to learn and grow. I love meeting our school community, so please don't hesitate to say hello and introduce yourself when you see me around campus!
