Principal Trisha Poore

Hello to all the Delaney families,

My name is Trisha Poore and I will be serving as the Principal at JF Delaney.  I am a proud Kennedale High School graduate and I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to work with the fabulous students, staff, and families at JFD this year!  

My career as an educator at Kennedale ISD began 23 years ago when I started as a teacher at JAA in 2000.  I served as a teacher at JAA until 2004 when I moved into a different teaching position at JFD.  I taught at JFD for 12 years until I transitioned to the role of assistant principal at JAA in 2016.  I have been an assistant principal for the last seven years, beginning at JAA and then moving to the role of assistant principal at RFP in the fall of 2022.

I am married to my husband, Toby, and we have two wonderful children.  My daughter, Taylor, is a sophmore and plays volleyball at East Texas Baptist University and my son, Tyler, is in 5th grade at Delaney.  

When you see me, please don't hesitate to introduce yourself.  I am excited to get to know each of the families.  I am looking forward to meeting everyone, and I will be working closely with the Delaney staff and families to make JFD the best.
